Serv-Safe food safety certification is the gold standard in the US when it comes
to being able to prepare and serve food safely. Serv-safe is a product of the
NRAEF, or National Restaurant Association and Educational Foundation, located in
Chicago, IL. It is a comprehensive course that is designed to educate you and then
test your food safety knowledge, by administering a 90 question exam at the end
of the 8 hour course. Upon passing this exam you will receive a certificate that is
good in all fifty states and does not have to be renewed for five years.

You will learn about food temperatures, sanitation, personal hygiene, and
safety procedures, related to safe food handling. If you have children at home or
are caring for an elderly parent, you are already serving an element of the high
risk population that can become ill very easily by consuming food tainted with
high levels of bacteria.

Common Sense Food Safety is committed to training and teaching the proper
techniques that are needed to handle food safely. We are a small company
located in North Andover, MA. and have been training food service staff for
over 10 years. My name is Mark Zagranis and I am the owner and operator, and
certified instructor for the course.

Onsite training is offered to classes of five or more people. Please call for rates.
